Description
The Upper Beaver Underground Construction Engineer will provide engineering design, planning, coordination, and oversight for construction projects supporting the Upper Beaver Underground operation, including vent raises, dewatering infrastructure, bulkheads, electrical substations, and other permanent underground infrastructure. The role coordinates construction and operations teams, prepares and completes construction drawings, supports procurement and quality assurance, develops cost estimates and schedules, monitors project progress, provides field support, and assists with mine planning. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in mine engineering or equivalent, P.Eng eligibility, at least 10 years of mining or construction experience including 5 years in underground mining, CAD design software familiarity, and strong problem-solving and organizational skills. The schedule is 4/3 at the Upper Beaver Project in Dobie, Ontario.
