Description
The Water and Wastewater Repair and Maintenance Supervisor supervises repair crews, assigns work, coordinates field personnel, and may observe projects performed by outside agencies. The role includes installing and repairing water and sewer mains and services, responding to customer concerns, maintaining hydrants, operating heavy equipment and trucks, overseeing equipment maintenance, and coordinating disaster response and external agency projects. It requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid North Carolina driver's license, a Class A CDL, and three years of construction or related work experience; the position is assigned to pay grade G15 and requires an on-call rotation.
