Primera is hiring a Transportation Engineer to support construction projects for transportation and municipal clients. The role involves construction inspection, preparation and coordination of technical calculations, reports, plans, specifications, supporting documents, and permit applications, and collaboration with clients, consultants, subconsultants, and contractors. The engineer will work under a Lead Engineer and requires a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management, zero to five years of construction experience, familiarity with IDOT procedures and construction inspection practices, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word. The position offers a salary of $70,000-$90,000 and benefits including a 401K match, employee stock ownership, gym and transit subsidies, paid volunteer time off, parental leave, and continuing education reimbursement.
