Description
HDR is hiring a Construction Engineer in Training (EIT) to support transportation construction projects. The role involves interpreting construction drawings and specifications, maintaining daily construction records, reviewing materials for contract compliance, tracking quantities and pay estimates, coordinating progress meetings, observing equipment installation and testing, identifying nonconforming work, preparing punchlists and record documentation, assisting with project closeout, and supervising junior representatives, inspectors, testing services, and subconsultants. The position requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or construction technology, multidisciplinary construction experience, knowledge of contracts and construction codes and laws, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Primavera or related construction software, and strong communication and teamwork skills.
