Description
Ironmark Building Co. is hiring a Commercial Construction Estimator in the Phoenix area to calculate labor, equipment, and material costs for wood-frame and other commercial construction projects and remodels. The role involves reviewing drawings and specifications, preparing and reviewing subcontractor bids, coordinating site visits, developing bid presentations, communicating with contractors and suppliers, preparing project documentation, and presenting to owners and architects. Candidates need at least two years of commercial construction estimating experience, hard-bid experience, knowledge of wood-frame construction, plan-reading and material-takeoff ability, Excel proficiency, and the ability to meet bid deadlines; a degree or certification in estimating, construction management, or architecture is strongly preferred.
