Description
The role independently estimates costs for road construction, civil engineering, and pipeline construction; prepares cost estimates, bids, change orders, and alternative bids; maintains estimating data; and negotiates change orders with executive management or construction management. It requires a civil engineering degree or comparable vocational training, prior estimator experience, billing and cost-estimating software experience, entrepreneurial initiative, and strong teamwork and results orientation.
