Description
AECOM is seeking an experienced on-site Construction Inspector to support County of Maui, State of Hawaii, and Federal projects and programs. The role inspects contractor work and construction documentation, tracks project progress, maintains records, and serves as a technical expert for electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC inspections. The inspector will also guide inspection teams, set inspection goals, and contribute to strategic decision-making for high-profile engagements. The position requires at least 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and U.S. citizenship, with facilities maintenance, MTRB field sampling and testing certification, OSHA 30 certification, and Microsoft Office experience preferred. The role is primarily on-site and requires extensive travel between indoor and outdoor construction environments, along with personal protective equipment and physical work at heights and in confined spaces.
