BKF Engineers is hiring a Construction Inspector to perform onsite inspections of water, wastewater, sewer, stormwater, and related civil infrastructure projects. The role verifies compliance with contract documents, permits, plans, specifications, environmental regulations, and health and safety standards; documents materials, tests, quantities, diaries, and photo logs; and supports project managers with submittals, RFIs, and change orders. Candidates need a college degree or at least five years of related experience, at least two years inspecting or supervising engineering construction work or five years in a related trade, a valid California Class C driver's license, construction-plan interpretation skills, communication abilities, and basic Word and Excel proficiency. BKF Engineers offers a stated annual salary range of $120,640 to $156,000, benefits including medical, dental, vision, vacation, sick time, holidays, retirement, and a hybrid work arrangement.
