Description
BKF Engineers is hiring a Construction Inspector to perform onsite inspections of civil construction projects, particularly water and wastewater infrastructure, ensuring compliance with contract documents, approved plans, permits, health and safety standards, and environmental regulations. The role includes inspecting pipelines, sewers, treatment plants, pump stations, and stormwater systems; reviewing submittals and RFIs; testing and documenting materials; maintaining inspection records and daily project logs; and coordinating with engineers, contractors, agencies, and the public. Candidates need a college degree or at least five years of related experience, a California Class C driver's license, and at least two years of engineering construction inspection or supervision experience or five years in a related trade. The position offers an annual salary of $120,640 to $156,000 and hybrid work is indicated.
