Description
BKF Engineers is hiring a Construction Inspector to perform onsite inspections of water, wastewater, sewer, pipeline, stormwater, and related civil infrastructure projects. The role verifies compliance with contract plans, specifications, permits, environmental regulations, health and safety standards, and material requirements; documents inspections and quantities; supports project managers with submittals, RFIs, and change orders; and coordinates with contractors, agencies, and the public. Candidates need a college degree or substantial related experience, at least five years supervising or inspecting engineering construction work, a California Class C driver's license, and familiarity with construction methods, Caltrans and Greenbook standards, field testing, utility coordination, and basic computer programs.
