Description
BKF Engineers is hiring a Construction Inspector to perform onsite inspections of water, wastewater, sewer, pipeline, stormwater, and related civil infrastructure projects. The role ensures construction complies with contracts, approved plans, permits, environmental regulations, and health and safety standards; reviews submittals and field documentation; verifies materials and testing; maintains inspection records; and coordinates with engineers, contractors, agencies, and the public. Candidates need a college degree or substantial related experience, at least five years supervising or inspecting engineering construction work, a valid California Class C driver's license, construction-plan interpretation skills, and knowledge of Caltrans and Greenbook standards. The position offers an annual salary of $120,640–$156,000, hybrid scheduling, and medical, dental, and vision benefits.
