Description
TYLin is hiring a Field or Construction Inspector in Indianapolis to inspect water service line materials for lead presence and support Lead and Copper Rule compliance. Reporting to the Construction Manager, the role involves field condition reviews, issue coordination, communication with contractors, utilities, design teams, owners, and the public, plus preparation of daily reports and testing documentation. The position requires a bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, 1–3 years of relevant water or transportation engineering consulting or utility installation inspection experience, underground utility construction inspection and restoration knowledge, and an EIT license for degreed engineers. OSHA 10-hour construction safety training is preferred or must be obtained within 30 days.
