Description
HDR is hiring a Construction Inspector to support LACMTA’s capital improvement projects, including the Vermont Transit Corridor Bus Rapid Transit project. The role involves visiting construction sites, inspecting work against plans, specifications, codes, and contracts; preparing non-conformance reports, daily inspection reports, and progress documentation; reviewing shop drawings and contractor testing; and monitoring safety and materials. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least five years of relevant construction inspection experience, MS Office proficiency, strong written communication, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. A California Class C driver’s license and OSHA 30-hour training are preferred, and visa sponsorship is not available.
