Description
Precision Systems, Inc. is hiring a Construction Inspector to monitor contractors on roadway, structure, bridge, and highway maintenance projects. The role inspects construction quality and contract compliance, documents production and non-compliant work, performs field measurements and material testing, reviews plans and elevations, enforces traffic and erosion controls, maintains project records, and recommends plan changes. Candidates need at least three years of highway construction inspection experience, knowledge of VDOT specifications and related standards, relevant certifications, computer and survey skills, and the ability to work day or night and lift at least 50 pounds.
