Description

WSP is hiring five temporary Construction Inspectors for approximately six months to support municipal roadway and utility upgrade projects in Newfoundland and Labrador. The role involves on-site inspections of storm and sanitary sewers, water distribution, and roadways; reviewing contract documents and drawings; monitoring material testing and quality control; maintaining field records; tracking quantities and payment certificates; coordinating with design engineers, clients, contractors, and public stakeholders; and ensuring compliance with project-specific health and safety plans. Candidates need at least three years of municipal infrastructure construction inspection experience, strong interpersonal skills, preferably knowledge of the Department of Transportation & Infrastructure Municipal Water, Sewer and Roads Master Construction Specifications, and a valid driver’s licence with a clean Driver’s Abstract. Compensation ranges from $54,200 to $72,000 for Newfoundland and Labrador.
