Planate Management Group is hiring an experienced Construction Inspector in Columbia, South Carolina, for a contingent four-year marine construction project to recapitalize Pier Mike at a U.S. Coast Guard base. The role conducts daily inspections, verifies compliance with contract documents, specifications, codes, and quality requirements, monitors workmanship and progress across multiple trades, documents deficiencies and corrective actions, prepares reports and photographs, and maintains project records using Microsoft Word, PDF tools, digital photography, and construction management software. Candidates need either 10 years of relevant construction experience, or 5 years combined with a four-year engineering degree and/or recent PE, PMP, or QA/QC certification.
