Planate Management Group is hiring an experienced Construction Inspector for a contingent four-year marine construction project to recapitalize Pier Mike at a United States Coast Guard base in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role conducts daily inspections, verifies compliance with contract documents, specifications, codes, and quality standards, monitors workmanship and progress across multiple trades, documents deficiencies and corrective actions, prepares reports, organizes construction photographs, and maintains project records using Microsoft Word, PDF tools, digital photography, and construction management software. Candidates need either 10 years of relevant construction experience or 5 years combined with a four-year engineering degree and/or recent PE, PMP, or QA/QC certification.
