BGE, Inc. is hiring a Construction Inspector (Construction Management) to inspect roadway, bridge, retaining wall, water, wastewater, sanitary, storm sewer, detention, and related transportation construction activities in Waco, Temple, or Belton, Texas. The role involves monitoring contractor work, documenting progress and deficiencies, preparing reports and quantity estimates, coordinating inspections and meetings, and communicating with contractors, testing consultants, municipalities, and client agencies. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, five years of general civil construction experience including public works infrastructure and transportation inspection, and knowledge of civil construction standards, traffic control, and quantity calculations. The position requires outdoor and physical work, availability for nights, weekends, and holidays, and a current U.S.-based driver’s license.
