Description
The Construction Inspector performs daily field inspections of construction projects, monitoring quality and compliance with building codes, construction drawings, specifications, and project plans. The role includes visual and physical inspections, field testing, report preparation, data analysis, communication with project managers and engineers, equipment calibration, safety compliance, and assistance to senior inspectors. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 2–4 years of Engineering Technician or applicable experience, successful completion of internal safety certifications, and at least one listed construction inspection or materials-testing certification; an associate degree in Civil or Construction Engineering Technology is preferred.
