Description
HDR is hiring a Construction Inspector II to inspect roadway, utilities, civil, and structural construction on the Interstate 5 Improvement Project between Yale Avenue and State Route 55 in Orange County, California. The role requires Caltrans construction inspection experience and involves checking paving, structures, electrical, drainage, traffic control, signing, striping, landscaping, quantities, grades, and compliance with plans and Caltrans standards. The inspector will also prepare diaries, calculations, reports, as-built documentation, claims support, stormwater prevention documentation, coordinate materials testing, resolve field issues, and support project closeout. The position requires at least three years of experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, MS Office proficiency, and flexibility to work days, nights, or weekends, including at elevated heights.
