Description
The Construction Inspector performs daily field inspections of construction projects, monitoring quality and compliance with building codes, drawings, specifications, and contract requirements. The role includes visual and physical inspections, field testing, documentation of nonconformances, inspection reporting, communication with project managers and engineers, coordination of testing activities, equipment calibration, and adherence to safety procedures. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, 2–4 years of construction inspection experience, a valid driver’s license, and multiple construction-related certifications, including NICET, ICC, AWS CWI, ASNT, and ACI certifications.
