Description
Techno is hiring a Construction Inspector to support a citywide pedestrian accessibility program across New York City. The role performs field inspections of sidewalks, curb ramps, curbs, and roadway interfaces; verifies work against approved drawings, specifications, and ADA requirements; documents progress and site conditions; monitors contractor operations; identifies non-compliance and safety issues; tracks installed quantities; and supports coordination, punch lists, final inspections, and closeout. The position requires 3–5+ years of construction inspection experience on civil, transportation, or public infrastructure projects, with New York City public works experience preferred. Compensation is $50–$60 per hour, with health, dental, life, and vision insurance and other benefits.
