Description
Michael Baker International is hiring a Summer 2027 Construction Intern to support highway, roadway, and bridge inspection and testing projects for WisDOT and other local public agencies, primarily near Madison and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The intern will monitor construction compliance with plans and specifications, perform material testing, prepare field drawings and work reports, review plans for constructability issues, and assist with contractor communications and project documentation. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in progress in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field, CAD and roadway design software proficiency, familiarity with construction materials and methods, and the ability to read construction drawings and specifications. Compensation is approximately $15.00–$30.00 per hour.
