Description
The Construction Layout Technician performs construction layout, verifies positional accuracy, and ensures work aligns with project specifications. The role includes layout and as-built tasks, survey and as-built data verification, interpretation of construction drawings, positioning control points, QA/QC support, reporting, equipment management, and occasional supervision and training of workers and tradespeople. It requires at least five years of construction-related layout or surveying experience, proficiency with surveying and CAD or Revit software, robotic total station operation, drawing interpretation, and completion of CPR, first aid, and OSHA 10 training within six months of hire.
