The role oversees construction engineering, quality control and assurance, contract administration, staff management, change orders, project documentation, compliance, budgets, schedules, client and agency coordination, and project profitability. It requires a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, California Professional Engineer registration, and more than eight years of roadway or bridge construction contract management experience.
