Description

Nscale is looking for a Construction Manager to oversee the on-site delivery of their Glomfjord data center project. The role involves coordinating construction activities, managing schedules and costs, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring quality control. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in constructing large-scale, complex, industrial, or mission-critical projects.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Extensive progressive construction management experience, including significant time leading large-scale, complex, industrial, infrastructure, or mission-critical projects in the field.
Experience in building data centres, power plants, industrial facilities, or other large mission-critical infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications: Strong working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and structural systems, with the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Demonstrated success managing schedules, budgets, contractors, and multiple trades on active job sites.
Deep understanding of construction safety standards and OSHA HSE requirements, with a record of leading safe job sites.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions quickly in the field.
Fluent in English; Norwegian advantageous.
Experience working in Norway with contractors, local authorities, inspections, permit-to-work processes and construction-phase HSE/SHA requirements is strongly advantageous.
