Description

SEL is seeking a Construction Manager for their Engineering Services division. This role involves providing leadership and oversight for complex substation and transmission line projects globally, serving as a subject matter expert for high-voltage electrical systems, leading project execution, coordinating with various teams, managing subcontractors, ensuring compliance with regulations, acting as a General Contractor license qualifier, and representing SEL to clients and regulators.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Extensive experience managing construction of electric substations and/or transmission line projects.
Prior experience qualifying or maintaining General Contractor licenses for a multi-state or national contractor.
Experience supporting large-scale utility or EPC projects nationwide.
Preferred Qualifications: In-depth knowledge of high-voltage electrical systems and power delivery infrastructure.
Currently holds or ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC card.
Willingness and ability to act as a General Contractor license qualifier for the company.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Demonstrated commitment to safety excellence in high-risk construction environments.
Familiarity with SEL protection, control, and power system solutions.
