Description
Public Works is hiring a Construction Manager to lead complex sewer utility capital improvement projects from planning and design through bidding, construction, and contract administration. The role supervises engineering and support staff, manages contracts and project schedules and budgets, coordinates with government agencies, utilities, contractors, consultants, and the public, ensures compliance with applicable standards, reviews engineering documents, monitors contractor performance, and prepares stakeholder reports. Applicants must meet one of three education-and-experience pathways, including civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering, construction management, or a closely related field, with progressively responsible civil engineering experience and specified supervision and contract administration experience.
