Description
The Construction Materials Field Technician conducts on-site testing, sampling, observation, and data reporting for concrete, soil, aggregates, and other construction materials at various job sites. The role uses company-provided vehicles, operates testing equipment, interprets results, maintains documentation, communicates with clients and project teams, and follows safety and industry standards. It requires a high school diploma or GED, construction or engineering experience, field testing and inspection experience, and required certifications in nuclear density gauging and ACI Field Concrete Technician Grade I, along with a valid driver’s license. The work is primarily field-based, involves driving and lifting up to 100 pounds, and requires outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
