Description
Testronix Ltd is hiring a Construction Materials Testing Technician Apprentice for a site-based role in Carlisle and surrounding areas. The apprentice will sample and test construction materials such as concrete, aggregates, soils, and asphalt in laboratory and field environments, record results, use testing equipment safely, follow industry standards and quality procedures, and travel to customer sites. The apprenticeship lasts over 20 months, includes at least six hours per week of off-the-job training, and leads to a Level 3 qualification. The starting salary is £22,568 per year, with a maximum of £26,436 depending on age, and the role requires a full UK manual driving licence, physical manual handling, and applicants to be at least 18, not in full-time education, UK residents for at least three years, and UK work-eligible.
