Description
The role performs field and laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel; prepares and submits test data and reports; transports samples; maintains equipment and work areas; and may coordinate technician dispatch and supervise lower-level technicians. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 10 years of relevant experience, computer and Microsoft Office proficiency, and a valid driver’s license, with several construction-testing and inspection certifications listed as preferred or required.
