Description
The Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Specialist supports Harris County construction projects by coordinating and overseeing construction materials testing services, reviewing field and laboratory reports, monitoring budgets and invoices, coordinating with testing firms, evaluating technicians, supporting material failure investigations, and assisting with training and project meetings. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least five years of construction materials testing experience, knowledge of ASTM and TxDOT testing methods, and a valid Texas driver's license. It is a full-time, regular 40-hour-per-week position with office and possible field work, subject to emergency deployment, and offers medical, vision, and dental insurance plus other benefits.
