The role involves testing and inspecting construction materials such as soils, concrete, and pile monitoring, producing detailed reports, operating vehicles safely, communicating with dispatch and onsite clients, and working an on-call schedule with obscure hours. Candidates need dependable transportation, the ability to pass a DISA drug screen and TWIC background check, and the physical ability to lift heavy materials and equipment; ACI, NICET, or TXDOT certifications are preferred, and training is provided.
