Description
McAdams is hiring a Construction Observer to monitor the progress and quality of site-civil construction, including sanitary sewer collection, water distribution, stormwater collection and controls, and related utilities. The role involves reviewing plans and shop drawings, communicating with construction and design staff, preparing progress reports, supporting lighting and utility testing, and participating in hydrant flow tests and confined-space inspections. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, preferably an associate degree in a survey or construction-related field, and 1–3 years of site-civil construction experience or 5+ years of civil engineering design experience. Work is primarily outdoors and physically demanding, with potential weekend, overtime, overnight, and travel requirements.
