Description
The Project Manager is ultimately responsible for one or more construction sites, overseeing projects from start-up through handover. The role monitors schedule, budget, and quality; prepares price comparisons and negotiates with suppliers and subcontractors; coordinates site activities; manages and motivates site teams; and works with clients, architects, engineering firms, and other partners. Applicants need a degree in construction engineering or comparable technical training, several years of project-manager experience, preferably with a Class 8 contractor, and strong communication and motivational skills.
