This role involves leading major construction projects, focusing on planning, directing, and coordinating large-scale construction programs for a County division. The individual will manage projects from early design and cost estimation through completion, identifying new project opportunities, and acting as a liaison between various stakeholders. Responsibilities include managing consultants, overseeing construction progress, handling administrative tasks like contract administration and grant management, and contributing to capital improvement planning. Technical leadership for engineering staff and providing engineering services such as signing, sealing, and certifying projects are also key aspects.
