Description

QTS is hiring a Construction Services Procurement Manager to plan, budget, source, and manage construction, design, commissioning, and related professional services for data center and substation development programs. The role leads RFPs and competitive sourcing, manages supplier performance and risk, develops contracts and KPIs, supports project timelines, and collaborates with global procurement, site operations, suppliers, and finance. It requires 4–5+ years of relevant construction, project management, sourcing, or procurement experience, a bachelor’s degree or relevant certificate, and offers medical and dental coverage, pension, leave, and bonus and equity eligibility.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Management, Operations, or Finance, or a certificate in Construction Management.
Required Previous Experiences: 4–5+ years of experience in construction management, pre-construction, project management, superintendent work, sourcing, or procurement.
Experience developing, executing, and managing contracts.
Experience developing long-range sourcing plans for assigned categories.
Company-wide procurement leadership experience in one or more indirect categories, or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Five+ years of direct experience in global supply chain management, project management, category management, strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and vendor management across varied categories.
Direct experience in construction design and construction, and professional services.
Experience in data center construction.
Experience in substation construction and EPC management.
