Description

SPAN Construction & Engineering, Inc. is hiring a Data Center Project Manager to oversee the construction lifecycle of a 24-month data center project in Lebanon, Indiana. The role is on-site and requires periodic travel, with responsibilities including project organization, budgeting, scheduling, contract and change-order administration, subcontractor coordination, progress billing, cost analysis, client communication, and job-site completion. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Construction Project Management or equivalent training, at least five years of relevant construction management experience, knowledge of pre-engineered steel building structures, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and project-management software.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Project Management from a four-year college or technical school, or equivalent technical training and related experience.
Required Previous Experiences: At least 5 years of construction management, budgeting, coordination, and oversight of commercial or industrial full-turnkey projects.
At least 3 years of experience writing and issuing owner and subcontractor contracts and change orders from proposal through execution.
Experience communicating project expectations to an onsite superintendent.
Experience using SAGE 300 project management-accounting integration software.
At least 5 years of project management experience with structural steel projects.
At least 2 years of construction management experience combined with 5+ years managing pre-engineered metal building construction projects.
Preferred Qualifications: Smartsheet experience
