Description

CSM Group is hiring a Construction Superintendent for future target regions, based in or associated with Lafayette, Indiana, with travel to project sites in the Southwest Michigan region. The role oversees daily field construction activities, coordinates trades and vendors, manages schedules and logistics, supervises safety and quality, reviews construction documents, resolves risks and manpower issues, and maintains detailed project records. It is a full-time, FLSA-exempt position requiring at least 8 years of related construction management experience, with proficiency in construction technology platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Required Previous Experiences: At least 8 years of related construction management experience, preferably in heavy construction, construction management, general contracting, or trade contracting.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of applicable building and trade codes, including IBC, NEC, ASME, UMC, and NFPA.
Trade certifications or licenses.
OSHA 30-hour training.
Experience managing projects valued above $25 million.
Demonstrated successful safety implementation and performance.
Proficiency with contemporary technology platforms and willingness to learn new tools.
