Our client, a respected General Contractor, is seeking an experienced Construction Site Superintendent in Long Beach, CA. The role involves leading on-site construction activities for high-quality projects across various sectors, including education and healthcare, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery while maintaining safety and quality standards. The superintendent will coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules, enforce safety, and ensure compliance with project specifications.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5 years of experience in commercial and public works construction
Proven track record managing projects from ground-up through closeout
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with K-14 or other public-sector projects (schools, civic, healthcare, etc.)
Proficiency with Procore and MS Project scheduling software
Experience supervising self-performed work
Background working with multi-prime contracts or DSA-regulated projects
Familiarity with LEED or other sustainable building practices
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Degree or certification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
Experience working on design-build or CM-at-Risk delivery methods
Strong relationships with Southern California subcontractors and vendors
Knowledge of public works compliance requirements, including prevailing wage and certified payroll
