Description
BAE Systems is hiring a Consultant Engineer Test & Integration for its Platform Management System Control and Indication team in Barrow-in-Furness, with onsite work and hybrid or flexible arrangements available. The role leads test engineers and specialist contractors, defines and delivers the test programme, coordinates test artefact reviews and workflows, ensures verification and validation activities follow company procedures, and provides technical guidance on test inputs. Candidates need a relevant engineering degree or equivalent, Chartered Engineer status or progress toward it, software test experience including automation, knowledge of IEEE testing standards, experience with Siemens, Rockwell and GE PLCs, and knowledge of WINCC(OA). The salary is £60,000 depending on experience, and relocation support may be available for eligible submarine roles.
