Description
AC Disaster Consulting is hiring a Consultant, Planning to support emergency management planning and preparedness projects for public and private clients. The role involves developing and maintaining emergency operations and continuity plans, conducting risk and hazard assessments, supporting mitigation and climate resilience planning, coordinating training and exercises, preparing after-action reports, maintaining emergency resource inventories, and providing client support during onsite deployments and disasters. This regular, non-exempt hourly position is remote-based with possible onsite work and up to 50% travel, and requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, at least three years of emergency management experience, familiarity with FEMA planning frameworks and regulations, ICS coursework, and HSEEP-compliant exercise development experience.
