Jumbo is hiring a Container Platform Engineer to design, operate, and optimize its Kubernetes platform on Amazon EKS at its headquarters in Veghel, Netherlands. The role manages production clusters, EKS architecture, GitOps deployments, security policies, and integrations with AWS services and Infrastructure as Code tools, while collaborating with developers, cloud engineers, and security specialists. Candidates need strong production Kubernetes and EKS experience, knowledge of GitOps, Helm, Kustomize, Terraform, AWS, networking, container security, and observability, along with higher professional education and 7–10 years of experience. The position offers a gross monthly salary of €5,700–€7,100 based on 40 hours, with an annual bonus, pension participation, paid leave, and partly remote work.
