Description

Intact is seeking a Container Platforms Advisor to integrate and operate containerized infrastructure, ensuring the integrity and efficiency of IT systems. The role involves designing, deploying, and managing Google K8s Engine (GKE) multi-cluster environments in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and supporting container infrastructure using OpenShift Container Platform and ROSA. The advisor will collaborate with agile teams, guide best practices for containerization, develop automation pipelines, monitor platform performance, and provide 24/7 production support.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Undergraduate degree in computer science or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
Required Previous Experiences: Experience in Google K8s engine (GKE) is a must.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in OpenShift Container Platform/ ROSA will be an asset.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform, GitOps, Ansible.
Experience supporting GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Cloud DNS, Apigee would be valuable.
Familiarity of monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
Experience with Agile software development and release engineering (branching, versioning, tagging) with tools such as GitHub.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Certifications in Kubernetes, Cloud and Terraform is an asset.
