IXL Learning is hiring a remote Content Proofreader for a 1099 consulting engagement lasting six months, with possible extension. The role proofreads educational web content and PDFs for accuracy, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and consistency; compares website text and PDFs; communicates issues to team members; and collaborates with curriculum designers and project managers. Candidates need prior proofreading or editing experience, attention to detail, proficiency with Google Sheets and Google Docs, availability for up to 10 hours per week, and the ability to work independently.
