Description
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) seeks a contract administration and construction inspection professional to monitor contractor maintenance and construction activities, verify compliance with contracts, specifications, safety and environmental requirements, document project performance, support contract development and administration, and assist with emergency roadway operations. The role also operates and maintains light, medium, and heavy-duty equipment, performs heavy manual labor when needed, collects field data, prepares reports and payment documentation, and communicates with contractors, VDOT staff, and the public.
