Description
The County of Berks is seeking a contract and procurement manager to oversee non-solicited contractual processes, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering complex contracts; preparing and managing RFPs, bids, and statements of interest; analyzing vendor proposals; maintaining contract records and the Ironclad Contract Management System; and ensuring requisitions, purchase orders, deadlines, and contract agendas are accurate and timely. The role supervises Senior Contract Coordinators, supports departmental procurement objectives, advises internal departments and vendors, and handles legal, insurance, compliance, reporting, and emergency-planning activities. A bachelor's degree in business or public administration or equivalent experience and at least five years of paralegal or contract-administration experience are required. The position requires physical presence in the office.
