Description
The Purchasing Contract Coordinator manages the development, review, execution, administration, and renewal of purchasing contracts across the County, including construction, professional service, software/SaaS, intergovernmental, and maintenance agreements. The role coordinates with internal departments, vendors, the County Attorney’s Office, and other agencies; prepares contract drafts and amendments; supports negotiations and dispute resolution; maintains contract records and templates; and ensures compliance with federal, state, local, grant, and public procurement requirements. The position requires five years of progressive purchasing and contracting experience, including three years in a governmental or project coordination setting, and a bachelor’s degree in purchasing, accounting, public administration, or a related field.
