Description
The County Purchasing Manager oversees the County’s contractual process for non-solicited contracts, including drafting, negotiating, reviewing, and resolving commercial, legal, and insurance issues. The role also supervises Senior Contract Coordinators, manages RFPs, bids, purchase orders, contract records, reporting, and related procurement activities, while serving as a liaison among the County, vendors, and other departments. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in business or public administration or at least 10 years of equivalent experience, at least five years of paralegal or contract-administration experience, and physical presence in the office.
