Description
The Butte County Department of Behavioral Health is seeking an at-will contract physician to provide direct psychiatric and medical care to patients with complex behavioral health disorders. The role includes psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, treatment planning, medication management, crisis intervention, commitment evaluations, documentation, staff training, utilization review, and consultation with community providers. Applicants must have an American Medical Association-certified medical or osteopathic education, successful completion of an approved residency, a valid California medical license, and board certification by the American Board of Medical Specialties or the American Osteopathic Association.
